Added the following features:
- Last year's URL format for checking the status of specific games used a 4 digit ID. This year uses 5 digits. Now that the live interface is available the problem has been identified and corrected in this version.
- The event content has been updated with the catalog data posted today (4/9/2010 around 1 pm Pacific time).

Added the following features:
- Added a Wish List print function that will allow you to make a hard copy of your wish list or generate a PDF with an external PDF driver. The output will preserve your wish list color blocking which will allow others to read your groupings more easily if you want to send them your list for event sign up coordination purposes.

Added the following features:
- The EasyCat can now be maximized and layout objects will be expanded accordingly. This will let you get the most visible data space so you can to see all of the event details as possible.
- Embedded the external utilities into the database so that they aren't needed in the distribution file.
- The GenCon source catalog version has been set to a generic 5.x since it doesn't seem that this year the catalog admins are versioning the catalog releases. I can't find any version reference to document so I'll leave the EasyCat reference at 5.x.
- The www.genconreg.com online check doesn't seem to be working at all yet. I can't verify that the link to check the availability status of an event works like it did last year. If GenCon gets this feature working and it is different than my code in the EasyCat I'll release as update ASAP.
- The current catalog I have imported into the EasyCat seems to be missing all Game Master data. Just an FYI....
- Since the EasyCat is built on FileMaker 11, to run it, you need to make sure you have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 (or higher) runtime environment installed. Check for the links on this page.
4/21/2009 (p.m.) -Version 1.20
Added the following features:
- Added internal web viewer to EasyCat that links local catalog entries to the online data from www.genconreg.com. Just click the www button for any event in any list and the online data will be displayed in a window in EasyCat. This will let you see if there are any open slots left since the downloadable catalog does not contain this data.
Bug fixes:
- Corrected two issues with ICS file exporting. 1) Removed blank space at the end of all ICS file lines that causes a problem in some calendar applications. 2) Corrected time handling bug on the end time for an event if the end fell at midnight. New end time in the ICS file will be 235959 now.
4/20/2009 (p.m.) -Version 1.12
Added the following features:
- Wish List rows can have a color assigned to them now to allow for easy visual grouping of events (i.e. multiple choices for a time block, or any reason you choose). This helps you browse a large wish list more easily. Click on the Wish List record ID (first number on each Wish List row) to set the color for that row.
- Wish List can be filtered on priority and/or scheduled status. I.E. if you just want to see your #1 priority items, you can select to view only those entries. Same with scheduled status.
- Added version tracking info for the catalog data version in your copy of EasyCat and available online.
- New Admin tab displays EasyCat history data, feedback button and refresh catalog buttons now.
Bug fixes:
- Adding events from the "Keyword Search" tab results in newly added Wish List ittems to always appear to be in Time Conflict. Corrected.
- Corrected bug that failed to remove time conflict warning in certain conditions.
4/15/2009 (p.m.) - XLS Catalog Update
No re-download of the EasyCat is necessary.
Simply download the newest catalog data to you desktop and rename the file to data.xls and select to refresh EasyCat using the "Refresh the Catalog" button (on the splash screen and on the main catalog display or in the Admin tab on release 1.11 of the EasyCat.

Bug fixes:
- Adding events from the "Search for Game IDs" tab always resulted in the wish list items added being shown as in time conflict. Corrected.
